I wouldn't take it to lightly what Dr. Marten mentioned a few threads back. China is in the process of crating "it's own" Internet. They will be in total control of just what domanin names from other countries are permitted added to their main UNIX farm DNS servers.
They aim to control the flow of what gets in and what gets out of their country period. Of course they will allow special DNS servers that allow for those granted the need to go anywhere, say their military, certain high tech groups and of course the likes of the politiboro.
This is a serious change of events.
