Are you counting out New England---?

As for today's games, I'm in trouble cause the only two teams that I root for are Jets and Chargers---sooooooo, I am going to go with Chargers cause I think they have best chance to advance.

Can't stand Mike Martz---he's a smarmy, smart-aleck so I can't root for Rams---so I guess Seahawks but I really don't care.

Absolutely infuriating to watch ABC. The fans in the stadium are seeing more instant replays than I am on the tele. Now I know what Rush was bitchin about the other day about showing graphics and stats crap instead of "the game".

It sounds like the Patriots have some key defensive folks out,, I like 'em tho , always have.. Plus they never beat my Vikes in a Super Bowl. ;-)

Roethlisberger may be having a Brady rookie kind of year , who knows?

I hadn't seen the Jets play much but what I saw late in the season looked pretty solid.

Martz rear is on the line, win or pack... The Rams are loaded , talent-wise..

Favre is the X factor, and McNabb minus TO shouldn't matter that much with the Eagles defense, but... that's why they play the game(s) .. lol

I just want to see competitive games, no major injuries and that the games be decided by the players on the field, not the guys in the booth. *)

You must have been catching highlights from the first 6 games of the season. The Yets have been anemic - their last "Big Game" vs the Pats in New Jersey, they forgot to show up entirely.

Me too---I just like good close games when a team I really want to win isn't in the playoffs.

I used to be a hugh Denver fan, cause I grew up in Boulder Co., then moved to Dallas became hugh Dallas fan, then they got rid of Jimmy Johnson, forgot how to draft and .......

So now, I just watch the games and enjoy them, or not depending on the closeness...

So, you are Vikings fan ? Are you a Randy Moss fan? He is the reason that keeps me from rooting for them---

Nope... their last two games were a losses to N.E. and Rams.

They managed to slink into the playoffs thanks to a fast start.

Weather forecast for Saturday night in San Diego: Windy with periods of rain. Low 57F. Winds SSE at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall around a half an inch.

As a Chargers fan I don't like this because it throws a major element of uncertainty into the game. The wind is the big problem more than the rain. 20 to 30 mph wind is awfully strong and even though Qualcommm stadium completely surrounds the field with seats to a height of 160 feet, there will be stong swirling winds down on the field. I think on the whole the winds should favor SD slightly because we have more of a short passing and running offense--we rarely throw deep. But I don't like the rain and the effect of wind on the kicking game (one of our strengths). Well it should be a wild game with numerous turnovers. I bet Donny Edwards gets at least one interception tonight. Go Chargers!!

Herm Edwards is a darn good coach, I hope he gets 'em fired up today. It could be a shootout.

Is Brees playing today or Flutie?

Herm Edwards is a darn good coach

He admits he's not into all those X's and O's thing.

I'm sorry, but Herm is half way decent motivational speaker - as for coach, I ain't seen much yet.

More raw talent then N.E., yet BB kicks his ass.

Brees is playing tonight. They just rested him last Sunday because that game was totally meaningless. Look for a wild game with numerous turnovers because of the wild weather tonight in San Diego. Forecast is for extremely windy conditions.

Rams get another interception off a tip.
Penalty. 15-yd Facemask. Seahawks keep it.
