Gay history month to 'out' Newton and Nightingale (Is there anybody who WASN'T gay?)
The sexual orientation of anyone famous is open to public scrutiny unless they are famous for their crimes, such as Jeffrey Dahmer or John Wayne Gacy or the Chief of the Nazi SA, Ernst Roehm. Then it so happens that sexual orientation is not germane somehow.
They aren't claiming anyone that is closer to their perversion then they are comfortable with.
