Tattoo removal will be bigger business in years to come when Gen X matures and realizes that 25 lizards and a Harley on your body isn't much fun anymore

I always used to say, Tattoos are forever...

When your grandkid ask why grandma has a skull on her arm.... What do you plan to tell them?

The key is to ponder what you can live with for the rest of your life. I have two very tasteful tatoos, both of which were obtained after at least a year of thinking about it. Also, get them in places that are not obvious and can be easily concealed at appropriate times.

I'm in the middle of a midlife crisis, and I'm considering a tattoo. Something tasteful, like a 4 inch family crest on my calf.

Or maybe a Harley logo superimposed on an eagle. Covering my whole back.

I can't decide.

That and a body-putty skin repair bizness for all the piercings.

You got that right.

This reminds me of the recent SNL fake commerical about a product that removes lower back tattoos. Amy Pohler is seen with a lower back tatoo that says "Juicy!".

I had a cool cabbie the other day...he was in his 50's and his tats were plum worn out into blue mush.

I got my "tats" when I was 15 and smashed my 66 Mustang into a tree...all my scars make me leary of tattoos...I'm already disfigured enough.

Tattoo removal will be bigger business in years ...

Dave Barry predicted that years ago. Said it would happen when Gen Xer's kids started asking them why they had pictures on their butts.

or when that little dolphin has morphed over the decades into a Grouper.

I've thought about going to a seminar to learn laser tat removal for when I give up working the ER. Can set up on the beach right between the tattoo parlors.

Too bad. I'm all for making someone live with the consequences of their actions.

Or when that cute little dolphin tattoo above your navel turns into Shamu the Killer Whale.
