I defy anyone to show me a professor who likes being department chair. I know I've never met one at UVA.
good point. this resignation is no punishment at all for Prof Churchill. He'll now have more time to teach (ie, indoctrinate), more time to write traitorous essays, and will probably get more speaking engagements too. UC should've fired him, but it's hard to do that to a tenured prof. Not to mention that most of the liberals at UC probably agreed with Churchill silently.
