More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.
I have emailed both Wesley Smith and Bob Marshall and asked them the same question. I think Bob Marshall said we have to outlaw dehydration deaths. I called our local representatives and talked about a law to do this, and they almost laughed at me.
That's what scares me, it is entrenched now. It's really only up to God now.
Last time around I was upset and convinced it was too late that we almost left the country. I am not kidding you.
BUT, let me tell you this. I sat and watched the entire house of reps discussion in Florida online when they stood and spoke and passed Terri's law. And if that was not God in action I don't know what was. I would give a lot of money to have that video. It was the most hopeful thing I have seen in a long time.
I cried through the entire thing, and not because I was an emotional wreck at the time anyway. :-)
These grown men and women stood up and spoke passionately about God and miracles, and told personal stories that I would not have dared to share in public as they did. It was an incredible thing to witness. Some of them cried as they spoke. They were not afraid to bear their souls and to speak on behalf of life. So keep praying.

Thank you. I feel very guilty that I have had some appointments that have kept me away from the computer during the day. I'm trying to make up for it at night when everyone else is asleep (plus, the laundry gets done as well)! My hubby has been very understanding...the kids, too. They all know how much Terri's life means to me. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll be on top of it all.
Yes, this is so emotional. I'm trying not to dwell on it, at least not all the time, but it's difficult.

That is !@$#&*%? stuff and nonsense !!! If it were true then Florida's Constitution is not worth the paper on which it's printed. The declaration of rights in ARTICLE I, SECTION 21, and General Provisions of ARTICLE II, SECTION 5.(a) are MANDATES. At the 5:30 ET newsbreak on FNC, Donna Fiducia or however you spell her name, said that Terri is COMATOSE. She said this while they showed Terri, well, not at her best, but certainly not appearing COMATOSE. I was so angry when I heard it. There is no excuse for saying she is in a COMA. Who on earth is writing this copy, that on every news show and headline break a different newsreader uses such LYING WORDS????? You try to straighten out some of the readers or crawls, then up pops new OUTRAGEOUS LIES!!!!!
I'm amazed and disgusted at the ignorance of so many people. I was trying once again to explain Terri's condition at work yesterday yet every last one of the adults never could get off the PVS or coma or brain dead hoopla. There is hope because the teens I taught last year still ask me about Terri and are concerned. I was discussing it with one of them yesterday after school and several came up to hear the news. Teens can be airheads about many things, but they are not closed minded and cold hearted as adults apparently are.
I can see you're a newbie to this case. I'll try to explain the feeding in a nutshell. Last time hino (@#%&@#$_*^@# aka Michael aka husband in name only) pulled her feeding tube the priest came to give her Last Rites. Hino came unglued and threatened to sue and arrest the priest. Why, you ask since Terri is Catholic? Because, if Terri should swallow the host or wine it would prove she could indeed take food by mouth and blow his case out of the water. BTW, in the beginning she was taking food by mouth, but hino couldn't be bothered with such tasks and had the feeding tube inserted. Furthermore, if it was proven she could take food by mouth, then it might lead to him having to provide rehabilitation which in turn might lead to her being able to tell the truth about what really happened that fateful night 10 years ago and he might find himself behind bars. Did you know that her full body scan shows severe trauma and that a couple doctors have stated she'd been worked over? No, this is hino's last chance at killing her and immediately cremating her so any witness to that night is gone and he's off scot free.
Your stories are just horrible. We need to form some sort of grass roots organization to stop these atrocities after we help Terri.
