Kerry: "I won the popular vote in the battleground states by two percentage points." -- WRONG
Meet the Press ^ | 1/30/05 | John Kerry on Meet the Press

SEN. KERRY: I lost, Tim, to an incumbent president by a closer margin than an incumbent president has ever won re-election before in the history of the country, and if you add up the popular vote in the battleground states, I won the popular vote in the battleground states by two percentage points. We just didn't distribute it correctly in Ohio.

I"ll never forget hearing Clinton Justice Dept operative Eric Holder smugly predicting that "Kerry will win if every vote is counted." Here's a column that documents it:

http://www.aberdeennews.com/mld/aberdeennews/news/special_packages/election2004/polman/9999765.htm

There was no doubt in my mind that Holder was in on the fix. He knew the plans afoot for illegal Soros funded voters to steal the election.

Thank God Bush won (on many counts). But foremost, the crooks from the Clinton administration,, like Eric Holder, are not back in high government positions.

Kerry's entire career is based on lies, and the belief that people out here in the hinterlands are too stupid to see through his charade ("Can I get me a hunting license here?")

I'm sure he'll blame this mistake on a member of his staff.

It is not enough for the Democrats to long for redistributing wealth, now they want to redistribute the vote.

Ol' Horseface can't stand that the US rejected his failed performance overwhelmingly. He should be taken to the glue factory, but the best they could do from him is make paste for Post-It notes.

If you add in NJ and HI as "battleground" states, Kerry gets 25,022,160 votes in the battleground. But Bush still beats him with 25,233,900 votes. Closer margin, but Bush still wins.

He also won the homosexual vote, the baby killers vote, the great unwashed vote, incarcerated vote, etc...

He also won the dead vote (present company excluded).

Sounds like your talking about the St. Louis Cardinals. Sad thing is I am a Cardinals fan from birth and I have to agree with you. :-(

Someone needs to develop a video game where, as Charlton Heston, you get to rifle down likenesses of Kerry, Gore, Dukakis, Carter, Mondale, maybe some rabbits, Gore again, Hilary, some Apes, Hilary, Kerry, some Apes that look like Hilary, and finally all segments of Michael Moore...which can be the final level.

This is genius, I'm off to the patent office.

Al Gore won the popular vote nationwide and look what that got him.

A one-way trip into the abyss of insanity.

As with ANYTHING libs say, you have to ask what is the definition of Battleground States, or a better question:

Senator sKerry, what ARE the Battleground states.

Then of course, we need to ask how he is calculating things: Is he calculating by actual votes? Or by intended votes? Or is he adding in a certain number of votes to cover the supposed 'disenfranchised' voter (sometimes called STUPID voters).

Remember, with politicians, and libs in particular, you never know what they truly mean.

Of course, all this above may be moot and sKerry is either lying or his memory fragments are so jumbled up he honestly believes he won the popular vote (sound familiar?).

Even assuming his assertion is true (and I don't know if it is), that and around $2.50 will get him a cup of coffee at Starbucks. So we all should say, "Sit on it, John."

"I wonder what Kerry's screen name is over at the DU. He would fit right in with the reality challenged nutjobs over there."

Dizzy Lizzy popped up in DUmmie land a few times. No wonder every time she opened her mouth it was more votes for GWB. She's just another moonbat fruitcake.

He was also heard to explain, "I have won at roulette several times. It just happened that I had my chips on the wrong numbers."

Another good baseball analogy would be a team that gets more hits in a game than their opponent. Nice stat but all that matters is runs.

Nothing drives me crazier than leaving runners on base.
