You don't think that's worthy of some measure of respect, considering that they have been oppressed for 35 years. What do we have to face here when we vote? Rain? Some long lines. We certainly don't have to worry about being blown up or shot.

I have no respect for any people that stand by for *decades* under brutal oppression and tyranny, waiting for someone else to come in and fight their fight. And then stand by and basically watch.
