Did you know that the Nature Conservancy is the second largest landowner in the United States after the federal government? Did you know they accumulated their billion dollar land portfolio using money taken from US taxpayers, and that many of their lands are set aside so that taxpayers, citizens and humans are not allowed to go on them (but the VP of the Nature conservancy can stay in a former ranchers home because he's special)? Did you also know that the public/private partnership created by the federal government to give public money to private agencies is a form of fascism, and is extremely anti-American?

Taking vast tracts of land, also, raises the price of remaining land, so that very few can own it. Which, if I understand the article, is part of the agenda.
