Being in trenches, soaking rain, artillery coming down on ya, time in the field hospitals, on patrol... probably not. But what about just one specific part of war: shooting people. You should ask WWII vets if shooting Axis soldiers was fun. Most of them would say no, but I'll bet there's a few who enjoyed it.
