Here in Mpls we have the great privilege of having a station that carries the whole lineup.
Did you know George Bush is a bad person? No make that the reincarnation of A. Hitler. And the Republicans want to steal grandmas dog food and kick her out into the street?
I listen to it sometimes, it's a hoot.
Run Al, Run!
Isn't that Garofa-ho on that too. I heard her screeching on Hannity's show once and just had to laugh, and she wonders why her career has gone down the toilet.
Second, I hope he does run. The more public these loonies make themselves, the bigger is the percentage of the population that draws back in horror when they see the reality of what they, in their lala land-esoteric-kumbaya view - have supported.
Those people have bought into the abstract concepts of 'peace, love and tolerance' (which sound good) without being exposed to the true face of those who scream or snarl these words through curled lips, with eyes bulging, neck veins distended and spittle flying as they physically attack a fellow American who carries a sign advocating a different view...
The wise person knows they could be next. As the billboards said: "Thanks, Hollywood!"
Al Franken is using the MN Senate race as an excuse to get out of Air America. His radio show doesn't change anyone's mind and he knows it.
What station in Mpls carries Air America? Can't determine what their ratings are from Radio and Records.
This brings to mind that famous quote about "the inmates are now running the asylum". LOL Go Al!
I've seen him referred to as a "humorist." That's a word for a would-be comedian who has trouble making people laugh.

Sorry for the plug, but in case you didn't already know about:

Al Franken and his book are discredited and debunked.
