Look with mercy upon this beloved Uncle and sustain him in his hour of need, O God. Grant the greatest wisdom to his doctors ... provide them a way to deal with his infection without the need to amputate. Strengthen him that he might overcome this crisis ... encourage him that he might be spiritually strengthened ... be for him the Great Physician of mind, body, and spirit.
