Unless Michael Doesn't Want to Know What She Thinks. If Michael Schiavo is so sure that Terri wants to die why does he refuse to give her speech therapy?
Over and over Terri Schindler Schiavo's parents have asked that Terri be given speech therapy. Terri's parents filed an emergency motion for immediate therapy in October of 2003, asking for 8 weeks of speech and swallow therapy. Michael Schiavo objected and the court sided with him.
In the light of Sarah Scantlin's recovery of her speech after 20 years, why won't Michael Schivo reconsider?
Speech Language Pathologist, Sara Green Mele, M.S. CCC-SLP, swore under oath,
"It is my judgment based on my training and clinical experience working with patients similar to Terri that she would, within a reasonable degree of clinical probability, be able to improve her ability to interact with her environment, communicate with others, and control her environment if she were given appropriate therapy and training as outlined above. These recommendations, in my opinion would greatly improve Terri's quality of life."

Dirty rotten cruel cowardly spineless evil selfish son of the devil himself. He'd rather let her die than just let her be with her family. He'd rather be a murderer than a divorcee. What is he afraid of? I think God will overlook divorce sooner than he'll overlook murder, but maybe that's just me.
What a complete and utter loser. What an absolute horror of a human being. I pray that SOME judge, SOME politician will have the common sense - and the power - to stop all this nonsense and just let Terri go home with her family, but I sadly doubt that will be the case.
God have mercy on us all.

Don't forget the judges, politicians, medical workers and everyone else who is allowing this to happen. We all know she might be murdered and by whom, yet are we powerless to stop it?

I tell you, if I were unattached and in a situation to get to Florida, I'd be quite tempted to set myself up to date him. The cops sure could use someone on the inside.
The cops have someone on the inside already, his live-in lover/fiancee/mother of his 2 illegitimate children, Jodi Centonze. Jodi's mom, Eleanor, worked for the Sheriff's office before she passed away Sept. 2004. How convenient for Michael!
Why involve the cops now? A friendly neighborhood motorcycle club might be more helpful.

True enough. And are we powerless? I was just talking about this with hubby tonight. And I'm afraid so. Tons of people are writing to complain to FL politicians, and I will join them shortly, but in the end, our words mean little, b/c an activist judge has a point to prove. If I thought my words would mean a dang thing to Greer, I'd be in Florida, pounding on his door day and night. But the murder of one class of citizens is already legal in this country - it was only a matter of time before another class was included. And over time, there will be more and more.
Did Jodi's mother die unexpectedly at their house? I know Michael gleefully euthanized Terri's healthy cats and his own parents.
Yep. And remember we are dealing with an irrational (and several other get-me-suspended-adjectives I could think of) person, namely Michael Shiavo.

Judge Greer is just as bad. He is legally blind and you would think that he would have some empathy with Terri.
Maybe since he is disabled - it might be a good idea to starve him to death.

Do you think Mr. Schindler would survive this ordeal without His help? The only thing I figure is that he had word that Terri would pull through.

She had cancer, don't remember which kind at the moment, but it did creep up on her rather quickly. IOW, it wasn't detected early enough to help. I don't think she was even aware of it when she sat guard over Terri in Oct. 2003. I don't know if Michael refused to get her treatment, but I do know that she died in Michael and Jodi's home. I would never put anything past Michael. For all we know, it could have been a way to exert control over Jodi. That *man* gives me the eebie-jeebies!

I know just what you mean. If he was given his choice between a hamburger and turdburger, he couldn't see the difference.
