Until we, as a society, get dead serious about stopping this crap, the stories will get more and more horrible.

What needs to happen is a fair and quick trial; one appeal and swift and sure punishment, starting with say four weeks in which, while housed in the local lockup, the perps are brought to the court house and placed in stocks for, say, sixteen hours a day. With details of their crimes posted.

I am serious as a heart attack here.

Then off to the big house with color coded prison togs that mark them for all to see as hurters of children.

I thought conservatives were supposed to believe in "Original Sin;" doesn't that conflict with blaming our society for the existence of sin like this?
