McCain: Hillary Would Be Good President
NewsMax.com ^ | Feb. 20, 2005 | Carl Limbacher

Posted on 02/20/2005 8:29:47 AM PST by Carl/NewsMax

Maverick Republican Sen. John McCain said Sunday that his New York colleague, Sen. Hillary Clinton, would do well if she becomes president of the United States.

"I am sure that Sen. Clinton would make a good president," McCain told NBC's "Meet the Press," as both he and Clinton were being interviewed from Baghdad.

While noting that as a Republican, he'll be supporting the GOP nominee in 2008, McCain reiterated, "I have no doubt that Sen. Clinton would make a good president."

Asked whether she thought McCain would make a good president, Sen. Clinton was somewhat less effusive, responding tersely, "Absolutely" - before erupting in her familiar cackle.

What are the idiots in AZ thinking?

I, for one, am thinking "little" is no idle first name for you.

So what's the news here? McCain continues to straddle the fence and kiss the arses of those on both sides...with the hope that he might be appointed to a cabinet position at some point in his life. The slimy little WEASEL. (Sleasel. har har.)

If the choice is between Hillary, Kerry or Edwards, I'd probably prefer Hillary as well.
Oh please. While the choice is not unlike trying to choose between how to commit suicide, Hitlery would devastate this country.

Kerry is too vain and self absorbed and a GOP Congress would just b*tch slap Edwards into submission.

I know your pain, but come on, you sound like the MSM.

Elitist GOP kingmakers, whatever that is, do not "put" candidates on the ballot.
The voters do. It's up to us.

The Hillary & "Condi" 'boomlet'either represents American decadence or the obvious degeneracy exhibited by the usual politicians.

John McLaim is NOT a donkey with a horn rubber banded to his nose acting like a RINO that likes to hang with Elephants..

But "they" are WRONG...

I wish I could come and visit the planet you live on. Reagan was the only recent GOP President who was not coronated by the kingmakers. And they tried damned hard to make him split power with Gerald Ford, leaving Reagan only running a few things like the Bureau of Indian Affairs and such.

What will be telling is, if and when they start standing together on Capitol Hill debating, voting on issues.

Although the horse has long left the barn,
John really must STOP mouthing the stuff
he thinks will please the media.

Pssssssssssst John. To your own self be true.
You're the media darling ONLY because you've
abandoned your beliefs to savor media attention.

NOT a maverick.
NOT a statesman.
Just another DC fraud filled with political ambition.

One thing for certain!
John can never "truthfully" say the GOP left him.
