I haven't read through this entire thread, but I will comment on the book you asked about.

"Suicide of the West" by James Burnham. Libraries usually have a copy deep in their stacks.

He was a conservative in the early days of Wm Buckley's National Review. I think he had been a socialist or communist sympathizer in the 30s who saw the error of that scenario.

At any rate, his essay on the ranking of those four words is profound. Any time I hear an organization stress Justice and/or Peace, I know they are leftist. Freedom and/or Liberty are conservative ideals.

Hillary has been swinging right for some time, it will work for the dummies, the soft mushy,undecided middle but no one with any brains at all will see it as any thing but a little triangulation.

The best part of that audio came later when he names all the people,mostly from Hollywood that swore they would leave the US if W won. It is priceless, he even sings,I can't access it anymore but if anyone has it,please post a link. TKS

Her show airs live 9-12 AM Eastern. I'm pretty sure WABC picks up a couple of hours(rerunning the live show) on a rebroadcast. Most of the big show are rebroadcast several times during the following 24 hours.

Interesting that Laura's show here in the east is only 2 hours. I usually read about the good stuff right here on FR before it airs at night. She follows Mark Levin on our ABC station and he seems to be going off the deep end.

Mark may be a little bit more "animated" than usual, he has a book he is promoting but I see him as a true class act. Kind of Savage-lite with a little more polish. You have to remember he broadcasts on WABC and gets a lotta rat calls, probably enough to drive anyone a little bonkers.

He invites the lefties to call and then goes bonkers.

We actually had Savage for a while. His ratings were thru the roof until he got into a spat of some kind with ABC out in San Francisco and then he was gone.

He's actually on a NY station but I don't bother, my blood pressure is high enough!!!

Biden lied when he said that having a S.S. trust fund full of nothing but IOUs was not a problem because the U.S. has never defaulted. Nixon defaulted in 1971 when he closed the gold window.

Something that got even less media attention were the comments made by a Dem who worked on her heath care task force. He said she should never be allowed anywhere near the office of the presidency. Her organizational skills are pathetic and her people skills worse.
