He got off, just like darlin' O.J.

Different. OJ had DNA that proved he was at least there at the murder scene. OJ's "luck" was that his jury was going to acquit him even if they had a video in slo-mo of OJ killing them both.

Blake had a circumstantial case, with no piece of evidence pointing for sure either way.

And Wacko Jacko should get Guilty because there are many witnesses and lots of corroborating evidence (children describing his secret places - both anatomical and archetectural).

In this frame grab from television, actor Robert Blake (news) reacts to the verdict being announced in Los Angeles Superior Court, Wednesday March 16, 2005. A jury acquitted Blake of murder in the shooting death of his wife four years ago, a stunning verdict in a case that played out like pulp fiction. The jury also acquitted Blake of one charge of trying to get someone to kill his wife, but deadlocked on a second solicitation charge. (AP Photo/CNN)

Fortunately for us, "gut feelings" are not the basis for jury verdicts. There was evidence plus some to spare proving beyond any doubt, let alone a reasonable doubt, that Scott Peterson killed his pregnant wife.

I said I did not follow this case closely. If there was many evidences BEYOND ANY DOUBT, then I will believe you. Would you please list these evidences. Thank you.

I had forgotten all about him. I tried a quick search, but couldn't find anything.

" Now that Blake has been found not guilty, what was that you were saying?"

Hildy didn't say she thought Gubitosi was not guilty, she said she hoped that he would get off, a subtle nuance that went right over your flattened brow.

Also, Rob Lowe claimed he didn't know she was 16. She had told him she was older. I guess he should have looked at her driver's license.

Show me where I said it was an appropriate response.

You said this:

I hope he gets off. I do. He didn't want that wretch of a woman bringing up his child. Sounds like if he didn't off her, someone would have.

I suppose that could be interpreted as saying the murder was appropriate. You think he "offed" her, he had good reason to do it and you hope he gets off. That's what you said.

It only stands out because it's the single most demented thing I've ever read on this forum. Congratulations on the honor.

I'm outside of California and I think justice was done ~ the prosecution had no case.

It will end up one guilty and two not guilty verdicts. Wait and see. The OJ syndrome struck the jury in the Blake case, IMHO. Michael will cake walk too. Celebs are seldom guilty even when they are.

The murder weapon was a gun that belonged to Blake. The serial number had been filed off. Too bad he didn't know they can recover the serial number.

HUGE LIE!!

THE MURDER WEAPON WAS NEVER FOUND!!!

CHECK THE FACTS

Just wondering, how can you have "not enough" gun powder residue on your hands to be convicted? I would think any gun powder on your hands after the woman you hated was murdered would be "enough". Oh well.

Amen.

The judicial system is structured so that the accused is tried by a jury of his/her peers after hearing all the evidence.

In this case the jury determined he was not guilty. I did not see any evidence that he was guilty to make me think otherwise. Yes he's weird and hangs out with druggy stuntmen but that's all I got from this case.

Agreed, comparing this to OJ is like comparing a rattlesnake to a tadpole. The OJ jury was racially biased and that's the bottom line.
