This audio has been out there for a long time. Everyone that is following this case has already heard Terri on it.

The ones that don't want to believe that she is talking, say she is just moaning, not responding to her father.

The point is that Michael can't use this tape to refuse to allow the Schindlers to visit Terri.

That's probably why Fox News is reporting that Michael is now saying that he did not prevent the Schindlers from visiting except when he was visiting Terri. They had to wait 4 hours. I doubt seriously, if Michael stayed in Terri's room the whole 4 hours that the Schindlers were made to wait. He may have found out that his pretext that they had taped their daughter (against the rulings of Judge Greer) wasn't going to work.

I think it is obvious why Judge Greer will not allow video or audio tapes of Terri. They are afraid of the public finding out how alive Terri really is.

Michael claimed it is because he respects Terri's "right to privacy." Yet he gets up on Larry King Live a year ago and proceeds to discuss why he will not allow Terri to undergo a gynecological exam in very gross detail. These are not the words of a loving husband, but the words of a sadist. And he was lying anyway. According to Terri's medical records, he kept denying Terri her right to basic female checkups.

If your point in bringing up the audio tape was what difference does it make, if Terri can't talk. I wouldn't mind a whole article on the issue, why Judge Greer will not allow any recordings of Terri. (I believe the ones they used were made during the doctor exams.) And if Michael is so concerned about Terri's privacy why did he describe in gross detail Terri's anatomy and according to him "SMELL".
