I seen a news clip this morning and President Bush said he did all he could do. I have to assume he will do nothing at this point. He said he tried.
The president is on his ranch in Crawford and has said that he will do nothing more. He obviously is not advising Jeb to launch a rescue attempt. My goodness, even GA Jimmy tried to resuce the 52 remaining American hostages in the spring of 1980.
Greer has no say. I don't know why they are even pre-petitioning the court, Greer's court, when Greer may be implicated (officially) in Terri's attempted murder. The only reason, or reasons, I can think of is one, the DCF is giving Greer a chance to do the right thing and cooperate, or two, the DCF is playing by various rules to stall in hopes of Terri dying before they have to actually do anything.
Their powers to remove an adult in a dangerous situation should be classified as an emergency. In an emergency situation, the DCF can remove an adult and worry about the questions later. They haven't approached it as an emergency situation yet.
That is Terri's only legal hope, I think, that a judge can rule that she is not PVS...

Ok......let me take a deep breath here again and gain my composure. IF , in fact , DCF has the power no MATTER what GREER SAYS, does Jeb have the authority to order out the National Guard to assist them??? and what about defying the orders of Greer?
Truthfully, I'm starting to wonder if he isn't just plain dumb.

Terri is so very loved by her family.
Terri's brother on Fox, it is unbearabl sad, he said "I love Terri just as she is"
He is still disbelieving, the hurt and pain in his voice is wrenching.
I cannot imagine what these people are going through. If this were my daughter, I would go mad.
And as Michael Savage, Terri would have been rescued were she a black, a lesbian, or an Islamic radical. There is discrimination against white Christians at stake here too, he seemed to indicate.
OUR COURTS HARBOR MURDERERS! THEY SEE THE FACTS AND IGNORE! TERRI'S BLOOD IS ON ALL THEIR HANDS!
I am a Christain in that I believe fully in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and LOVE every single word he spoke regarding our lives and the relationship our Father yearns to have with us...but I cannot accept some of the horrific things may churches do...and will ever again attend a church that is a member and sends money to the National Council of Churches...the group that sponsored smashing Elian.
Their damn black robes need to be RED with Terri's blood!!!!
My country will die with Terri.
