The more information that trickles out concerning the relationship of Michael and Terri Schiavo the more disfunctional it appears to have been.
A close friend of Terri Schiavo's said that she often appeared bruised in the months before she was found unconscious in her St. Petersburg, Florida home on Feb. 25, 1990.[snip]
"I did notice bruises on her upper arms and upper legs," Jackie Rhodes told Fox News Channel's Greta Van Susteren. Rhodes and Schiavo worked together at a local insurance office.[snip]
At the time, Rhodes said, she attributed Terri's frequent bruising "to maybe running into the desk at work or, you know, maybe she was extra-sensitive."[snip]
"But now, hindsight tells me that I did see them quite frequently and that they may have been more than just a bump into the desk," she added.[snip]
"They were mostly bruises where normally they would be covered up, you know, during the work day," she explained. "They were smaller bruises, like maybe someone had grabbed her or, you know, like, squeezed her arm or leg really tight."[snip]
The more we find out abou this guy, the more there is to despise.
And for the past week or so she's being bruised and killed by the lies and distortions of the old evil media!
This country has become PERVERTED!

This smearing is pure crap and it needs to stop. EVERYONE who thinks they know best should try living with the burden Schiavo has had for 15 years.
God forbid something like this EVER happens to anyone, However, it will become more frequent as medical technology passes up the law.
Let's try to stick to the facts here instead of hysterical gossip and condemnation.

We have as much chance of that as seeing "Judge" Greer grow a heart!
I would not want to live for 15 years like Terry has unable to get out of bed... but a deeper concern to me is HOW she got there. I suspect foul play at the hands of her so called husband. Is it too late????? He is going to have her cremated. He has a new wife, he shouldn't even have any say in what happens to Terry. He has a common law wife and two children. If Terry were able to get out of bed I am sure she would divorce him.
Wrote about this earlier this morning:
After admitting to having been romantically involved with other women during this period, he was asked what he did with Terri's jewelry. He answered:"Um, I think I took her engagement ring and her--what do you call it--diamond wedding band and made a ring for myself."

Many people did go to police over the years, friends, family, nurses did.... but the police and judicial system never followed the leads.
