I love Nancy Grace, too, and I am a happily married Mom.
Nancy cuts to the quick and gets it right on legal issues. I was very moved by her personal story, she went to Law School because her fiancé was murdered right before her wedding. As a prosecutor in the Atlanta DA's office ahe NEVER lost a murder trial.
Part of her appeal is that she is a first rate first class DQ (Drama Queen)who communicates her emotion and convictions.
Her politics is a shame, but she has been wonderful on the Jacko case and in pleading on Terri's behalf.
She went so far as to say "Don't you ever pull the tubes on me. I want to be a burden"

This is the biggest problem with her. She wrote that after her fiance's murder, she saw every defendant as the person that killed him. Its not clear how anyone could anyone get a fair trial when the prosecutor ignores evidence and automatically assumes guilt. While it is the prosecutor's job to present evidence of guilt against the defendants, they're supposed to pursue to the truth, not use the privilege of representing the people to conduct a personal vendetta. It also raises questions about her ethics and whether she would be more prone to make mistakes because of her zealotry.

She has had at least one murder conviction overturned and was cited for misconduct. This is from a previous poster's link

The court also strongly rebuked then-prosecutor Nancy Grace -- now host of Court TV's "Closing Arguments" -- of engaging in "inappropriate and, in some cases, illegal conduct in the course of the trial."

This included, Carr's appeal said, an illegal search of Carr's home to allow one of Grace's expert witnesses to view the crime scene and allowing, before the trial, a CNN television crew to enter Carr's home while filming a feature on her.

This vendetta casts serious doubt on whether she would act ethically in a prosecution and possibly withhold evidence. She's known to have crossed the line at least one before in a murder investigation - one has to wonder what else she did as a prosecutor.
