A Florida friend of mine said her mother-in-law and an elderly aunt were cremated in the last 2 years and no autopsy was done.

Generally as a rule of thumb, if you have been under a doctors care for a terminal illness, an autopsy is not usually required. The main purpose of an autopsy is to find cause of death. Everybody in the world knows Terri's already. The motives are still a mystery to me, and another can of worms could be an insurance company may of requested it. I just don't know.

I hadn't thought about the insurance angle. If there was a request from an insurance company maybe that will written somewhere on the autopsy too. We haven't heard from MS since he received the autopsy results. Wonder if anyone is watching his house. He may be in Brazil by now.
