Yes there have been connections made. Greer has been seen 'hanging out' there. The Bar I think it was? Has their meetings there. There was more but I'd never be able to find it amongst all these threads.
Felos is a Scientologist, or at any rate, admits being heavily influenced by them - we haven't been able to determine his status exactly, since Scientologists are rather secretive about it. However, the Scientologists were involved in the starving death of a young mentally disturbed woman there about 10 years ago. They got out of criminal charges for reasons that are still not clear to me. They are very powerful in Pinellas COunty, own lots of land and businesses, and are connected with everybody.
I'm sure I read that FELOniouS' wife is a scientologist. Don't ask me to find it again.
