Greer took care of everything by simply refusing to admit as evidence anything favorable to Terri's case. He took Mikey's hearsay testimony regarding Terri's wishes and refused to consider those who said Terri had stated otherwise to them such as friends of Terri's (just one small example). Therefore, if no "new evidence" was looked at by later judges who reviewed the case, then Terri was screwed, which she indeed was. Judicial murder.
"Greer took care of everything by simply refusing to admit as evidence anything favorable to Terri's case"
You may very well be correct on that notion. I do not think me post states otherwise.
I also heard one nurse testify that the judge acted disgracefully on the stand.... that he *clearly* discounted any positive testimony - he actually acted bored and dismissive as those positive to Terri were testifying.
If I had not *with my own eyes* seen another judge act this way - I would have totally disbelieved this woman. Probably thousands of people watching her thought " That is impossible - even if he felt that way - no judge would open display his feelings on the bench".....
But I can tell you I've seen it with My own eyes..... a judge scoffing, rolling his eyes, and even verbally attacking a witness. This was in a child custody case and I was not involved - just in courtroom with a relative who is an attorney. Therefore I found her statements about Judge Greer to be very believable!!
