Well with that kind of prediction then I can safely predict that the Earth will collide with the moon. It could be in a few, 50 or another 1000 years, but sooner or later it will happen. No it won't. It is scientific fact that the moon is moving away from the earth. It will someday be gone but it will never collide with the earth.

In the beginning the moon was only 40,000 miles away. can you imagine that the tides must have been like! yikes!
