Get a grip. Do you like strangers lecturing you? People go into pharmacies with the expectation the pharmacist will fill the prescription, explain how to use the drugs, take the money and let the person leave in peace.

Do you think the kid behind the counter a fast-food joint should refuse to serve you because you're a little overweight? Do you think he should point this fact out to you and lecture you on good eating habits?

Pharmacists who want to use their positions to push their particular agendas would do well to seek employment in pharmacies that tolerate such actions. Otherwise, they should shut up and do their jobs.

Prescription medications are really not comparable to fast food and you know it.

Freedom of religion and freedom of conscience must necessarily trump both however.

(BTW, if you really think a cheeseburger with fries can do the same job as a condom, you'd best start reading the labels, eh?!)

So you are saying that the government should mandate that they not say anything? I am not sure what you do for a living, but what if the government decided that you could no longer express your opinion at work on any topic, I am sure that you would be irate. The idea that a Governor can tell you to Just shut up and do your job, when you do not work for the Governor, is ludicrous. Fine you do not want to be lectured, neither do I, but who is the Governor to decide what you can and can't say.

No one is forcing people to obtain birth control or morning after pills from a certain pharmacy. They're free to shop around. And they can always go to Planned Parenthood if no local pharmacy carries them. In a free country, the customer has choices but a business also has the freedom to decide what products it wants to sell. And Commie Blago is now making that decision for Illinois pharmacies. Remember, this is the same crowd that railed against government interference in Terri Schiavo's murder. Apparently, some forms of government interference are more acceptable than others.
