They also subsidize the air traffic control system that the airlines use, does that mean that they should be able to tell the airlines what movies they must show?

The idea that because the government has setup the dependence scheme of Medicare/Medicaid does not mean that they should gain extra control over someone's first amendment rights.

I agree with your sentiments wholeheartedly! However, such is the reality of our system, it has been that way for years. Hospitals, for instance, all rely on medicare reimbursements to stay afloat. Hence, the federal Joint Commission on Accreditations of Healthcare Organization (JACHO) is an extremely powerful goverment agency dictating every minute details on the operation of hospitals, clinics, etc... A JACHO violation equates to a death sentence for a hospital. I don't agree with it, but unfortunately these govermental agency have become too powerful and tyrannical.
