If it's his business, he can simply choose not to purchase and sell the contraceptives. If he works for an employer, and the employer sells these contraceptives, the employer has every right to expect him to dispense them if a prescription is presented, and has the right to fire him if he doesn't. If he's not OK with that, he can seek another line of work.

right, if the companies I work for start producing items I disagree with, I'd have to consider another line of work too. It's a different story if you own the business though.
