AWWW!! Congrats Grandpa!
Wow! Seems to be a population explosion of little Freepers and Freeperettes lately. Congratulations Grampa.
Post a picture of her for TexasCowboy, Nan!
Know he'd (we all would) love to see how beautiful she is now.
Little Miss (Preemie) Emma has developed into the Delight of Nan's Life..:))
Nan - wasn't she born in July, like Logan?
Gramma of Brad's "grandniece" - as well as "mine."...:))
She was born June 17. Will soon be a year. She learned to patty-cake her hands today and was so pleased with herself. Every time I would say "Patty-cake" she would just clap and clap and giggle. I had forgotten how much fun little ones can be. I love the pics of Logan. He looks like he is just full of himself. He's a real cutie too.
Congratulations, grandpa---
You are going to love being a grandpa. I have been a grandma, or "nama" for 5 years and I think there is no better feeling than being hugged by a grandchild!!!
Be sure and help Miss Victoria pick out her screen name soon, so she can post....LOL
I suspect you're right. Of course I haven't actually gotten a hug yet, but as close as she can manage at this point. I held her for quite some time at least 2 or 3 times today. For a couple of hours it was just Miss V, my daughter and I in the room. Dad was home showering while La abuela de Seniorita Victoria was off finishing up a shower gift for our *other* daughter, who gets married the last weekend in June.
Hi gang---I am sorry I haven't come hear for a couple of days, I have been going to bed early trying to get over a virus because my granddaughter, Kailey, is spending Sat. nite so her daddy can celebrate his birthday....
I see a very pretty little girl, Nan---she looks like you from the picture I saw the other day...lol
BG--I do hope you get to see TC while he is in California..I bet it would just help him tremendously to have you visit....if/when you go, be sure and post a play-by-play of your visit...
Lady, Kailey told me that she is giving herself her shots now....gosh when I was five, I screamed for an hour if I had to have a bandaid taken off!!!! She is pretty proud of herself...she "graduates" from kindergarden next Tuesday...
Well, I have enjoyed catching up with ya'll's posts and now I will send my Prayers up to God for Cowboy and everyone of you wonderful people---I just think the nicest people are on FR...

One thing I tell everyone is that I just love that "New Baby smell"---take a big whiff next time you hold her---
It will hold you until she is old enough to hug you---nothing smells better in the world...
Gives herself shots????!!! Allergy or Diabetis? That is so young to have to deal with shots.
She was diagnosed with diabetes last December---she also has allergies and has to take 2 kinds of medicine for THAT!
She gets her finger pricked 5-6 times and day and she gets 3 shots of insulin a day...
When she showed me how she gives herself the shot, she gave it to herself in her stomach...I just cringed.. although, I have been having to give them to her before, it just seemed "worse" to see my 5 year old granddaughter stick the needle in....
I can imagine. That is so hard to even think about. I will pray that the medical field finds a cure or at least a better treatment for Diabetes. A little child shouldn't have to deal with sickness.
Prayers for smooth paths TC, from the night shift. Night all.
I think her attitude is what helps---she just takes it in stride.
Also, I know that there are a LOT worse diseases and defects that other children deal with everyday---it is just one that involves CONSTANT attention...
Anyway, your little girl looks terrific, she was a preemie?
How big was she when she was born?
