I hit my first deer in March. Luckily, I was already slowing down for the sharp curve. $2000. There were four deer across both lanes of the road. They all stopped to watch me coming at them and I plowed into one of them. When we took the car to the dealer, there was an F-150 in the body shop that hit a deer and had three times the damage.

More deer are killed by motorists here in Pa. than by hunters.

I have had four run-ins with deer in five years. Two of the times were in heavily populated suburban areas of Maryland!

A deer has run into me; and, the last time, I hit a deer square on. So? I drive a '91 Suburban with a winch. The last encounter undoubtedly would have killed me had I been in a subcompact or smaller car.

You venison lovers are just not doing your part!
