I'm evangelical and this makes me sick.

I hope this isn't widespread, unfortunetly many protestants are ignorant about Catholicism.

While I have some theological differences, I don't assert who and who is not going to hell. I know how to get to heaven, through Jesus Christ, but other than saying that I'm not able to assert who have accepted Christ and who has not.

Calling the Pope hell-bound while millions mourn is not 'loving your neighbor as yourself' as Christ commanded.

It's disgusting.

True. I didn't know, until informed by a good Catholic on FR, that there is no salvation apart from the Roman church. They were able to cite official church doctrine to establish that point.

The person who put up that sign clearly has a sickness of the heart. As a former Catholic myself, there are many things about the Roman Church with which I take issue, but what is posted on that bulletin board is not a testament of faith's existence. On the contrary, it is a profane testament to the depths ignorant people willfully dive toward in its misuse.

Gosh, your post was refreshing! I spend alot of time on an Evangelical Christian Bulletin Board, and I cannot tell you how often I hear Cathlics are not even Christian!
