I admit, I didn't realize Cheney's daughter was in politics. I actually googled her and read before I posted.
I was VERY impressed with her interviews. She handled herself well while O'Reilly tried baiting her.
So I'm at a loss here with her thoughts on Morocco. Then again, she has been there and I'm just up on propaganda I guess.

Liz Cheney is a very sharp cookie, and an up-and-comer in the Republican Party. She gave a number of interviews while working for the Bush/Cheney reelection campaign, and was extremely impressive, IMO. Went back to the State Dept after the election, and was named Undersecretary of State for Middle Eastern Affairs.
I think she is definitely pegged to take the mantle from her father.

Maybe I'll have to move to Morocco! ::giggles:: Well, if the two husbands have to be Moroccan men, hmmm, I might have to pass. But if I get to take my choice, hey, I'm there!

See, this is what I thought.
I read 2 of her interviews (on other subjects), she isn't dumb at all and can handle reporters baiting her.
So I'm wondering what the posturing here is with Morocco.

Isn't Morocco a hotbed of terror? Actually, I don't know. I'm not up on my Moroccan politics and culture like I should be.

I like Liz! You and me both. What I've seen of her, she's a keeper. And she's got good genes.

Thousands Circumcised in MoroccoFES, Morocco - The infant son of King Mohammed VI was circumcised Thursday, and thousands of Moroccans also went through the procedure in a massive show of solidarity for the prince, a news agency reported.
The circumcision of Moulay Hassan, the king's only son, marked the start of three days of nationwide celebrations across the north African kingdom to honor the event. The boy turns 2 next month.
Some 5,000 boys were circumcised in Casablanca, Morocco's largest city, and thousands more in other cities and towns, the official news agency MAP reported.
The ritual of circumcision, known as "t'hara" or purification in Morocco, signals the entry of young boys into the Muslim community. The practice once mainly carried out by barbers today takes place primarily under a doctor's supervision.

I work with a Moroccan who is the most vicious pro-terrorist man I've ever seen. I've giving thought to calling the FBI on him.

Maybe you should call the FBI. Probably wouldn't lead to anything, but I guess it couldn't hurt.
Whatever Morocco is right now, I definitely don't think of it as a real progressive, forward-thinking country. And their culture has a history of thousands of years of absolute barbarism, from what little I know.

What does that mean Alouette? Is that just a post of interest or are you trying to tell us something? You understand a lot more about these issues than I do.
