Somewhere exists a stunning photo of two huge cops on either side of a little kid, cuffed and escorted to the dog cage. I wish I knew who took it and where it wound up. It speaks eloquently, and the poor cops were clueless as to how it made them look.

I had little affection or interest in Sean Hannity before this event, but must say he stayed, told the truth and pushed out a lot of information we thought would never make it past the edits. Without his efforts, we would have scurried more and accomplished less. Seeing the truth before us and hearing him disseminate it faithfully, I give him highest marks.

That bears repeating. SH gets beat up pretty good around here sometimes. The other day, there was a good thread on "Ranting Rush," and sure enough, a few posters used the opportunity to bash Sean.

I listened every day through the whole sorry spectacle, had he did a tremendous job.

I used to say that Sean was hired just for his pretty face. I've changed my mind about him. I appreciate how he spoke out in favor of Terri. Also, Sean has never been afraid to take a stand.

Over the days several parents showed up with their children at quite a range of age. Typically, the children said it all by their demeanor, tagging the lie that people in Terri's condition were blobs of flesh.

Most of these kids were worse off than was Terri who was healthy as can be when I arrived on the scene. There were some older ones, too, fully or almost fully grown. These parents all shared something very special to me, their resolve as loving parents to protect and nurture their charges. I had seen none of these perhaps dozen or so try to find sympathy for their plight.

A number of the children were like my own son and we shared plenty in common with the obstacles faced.

That strength continued beyond the parents with kids with feeding tubes and encompassed the many handicapped there with varieties of problems, once again testifying by their demeanor.

Judge George Greer, along with U.S. District Judge Whittemore, have lost their moral compasses when they gave Terri Schiavo a death sentence.
