I thought it was a commercial plane crash. Don't ever remember her slurring her words. I liked her.

Jessica Savitch drowned when her car flipped into a canal south of New Hope PA in October 1983. I was living there at the time and heard nothing official about any drug use, nor was there anything in the rumor mill.
