Dear freepers
There was an article published today on Human Events online http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1386115/posts?page=52,4 that talks about the possiblility of Senator Chuck Hagel voting against John Bolton nomination to be U.N ambassador.
So I just called Senator Hagel office in DC and I asked the Lady who answered the phone about this article that is saying that Hagel is leaning against Bolton nomination for UN ambassador. Unfortunately she did not deny this and she said that Hagel did not make his mind yet on Bolton nomination. I told her that it will very disappointing for the Republicans, and this will be a big mistake by Senator Hagel if he does vote against Mr. Bolton, and I hope that he will vote to confirm him as UN ambassador.
It seems what Hurrent Events online is reporting may be true and we must not let it happen. So please call Senator Hagel and ask him to support Mr. Bolton nomination to the to the United Nation ambassadorship

Hagel May Jump Ship on Bush's Pick for UN Ambassador
White House Fears GOP Senator Will Kill Bolton Nomination

If true, this is outrageous, and of course immediately disqualifies you from any serious consideration for your presidential aspirations.
Bolton is the president's pick--we picked the president--who are you to get in the way with not a scrap of mitigating evidence save your own overblown ego?
America--that's the big picture--America needs the strong representation of John Bolton at the appallingly corrupt United Nations.
On the heels of the biggest financial swindle of all time, and the serial pedophile predations of pervert peacekeepers, this country needs the epitome of toughness which is John Bolton.
What we don't need is somebody trolling for a big, wet kiss from The New York Times.
Nice!
Why bother with Hagel -- the Uriah Heep of the Senate. It is seriously time for Conservatives to consider the construction of a new political party, one that would differentiate its goals from the egomaniacal popinjays like Hagel, McCain, Snowe, Graham, Chafee, et. al.
But that's just me.
I asked her to urge Hagel to vote for Bolton because he's the best one to 'reform the UN and clean up the corruption".
She said she'd pass my comments along.
Everyone should call.....use this

I like Bolton for just one vital reason: He straight out told the UN to keep their gun grabbin' mitts off of our 2nd Amendment rights! That's enough for me.
Such was the declaration of John Bolton, U.S. undersecretary of state for arms control and international security, as he addressed the 180 national delegations assembled at the U.N. for a conference on gun control.

Evidently all of your calls have paid off. FNN just reported that Hagel was going to support Bolton.
I heard too on Brit Hume special report, this is great :)
Lindsay Graham is a HUGE disappointment!!
Graham has always been a weak reed. Even his performance at the Impeachment team was wishy-washy.
