Generations of American Catholics learned in Question and Answer format from The Baltimore Catechism.

Gosh, the Baltimore Catechism brings back memories. I believe though that when I was a little mite (back in the -50's) there was a children's Catechism...perhaps a "kid's version" of the Baltimore Catechism????

We used Baltimore Catechism No. 1 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades, then moved on to Baltimore 2, which did us for grades 4 through 8. I think both covered the same basic material in the same format, but Baltimore 2 was more detailed. (I still have my Baltimore 2, but not Baltimore 1.)
