The Foreign Relations committee is supposed to meet at 2:45 to vote on the Bolton nomination. Lugar has refused requests for a delay. Tell them you are anyway. Pick a city in their state and go with it. What the hell.

Now...if we want to get really upset - switch to Colmes interviewing Ann Coulter on Hannity. What a terrible picture Times used/took/selected. It makes her look like a deformed little girl playing big girl in daddy's chair. It was horrible. Colms is being as nauseating as ever.

I think Move America Forward is right on.

Senator Voinovich can't show up at the end and then buy into the whole Democrat propaganda baloney.

He is suppose to think like a Republican and support President Bush's desire to put John Bolton at the UN, where he can look out for American interests in a hostile environment.

Support www.MoveAmericaForward.org They are doing a great job.

There's a big difference between conceding defeat and being defeated. Lugar and his band of cowards and turncoats were soundly defeated, and the stage was simultaneously set or defeating the Constitutional Option on filibusters. To believe otherwise is to be a Pollyanna.

I'm back from attending a marvelous Mass and am just seeing your note.

I will say that I had Hugh Hewitt on in the car enroute and while he mostly spoke about the Pope he also had Frank Gaffney on for a segment and they addressed the Bolton business.

I was pleased to see my opinion was in exact alignment with them.

I don't consider them stupid and I don't consider myself stupid, either, so why don't we respect each other's opinions and time will tell if Bolton is confirmed or not.

I am at the point that I don't even care if he is confirmed, I'm just mad as hell that we have so many wimps in the GOP. We are the majority and we have to keep kowtowing to the minority and, only because of the RINO's we have to deal with.

IS IT JUST ME, OR DID BIDEN LOOK LIKE THE CHAIRMAN OF THAT COMMITTEE.

######

Biden believes that he SHOULD be Chairman of that committee, so he acts like he is. He overtalks all the R members, coaches the Ds and ignores Lugar. I never saw so much blatant rude behavior in a Senate meeting before this one.

Yep! I said I thought Lugar looked frightened and nervous, and Biden was like a smug bulley.

For years we have been wanting the Republicans act like the majority they are. I am getting tired of waiting. Ever since the 90's it has stayed this way. They get a little "burst" of energy once in a while, but eventually turn into balloons with the air whistling out the end of an untied knot. It is really depressing. Imagine how hot Bush is tonight!

It is amazing that an unrepentant liar and thief can even begin to question anyone's judgment. Even more amazing that he can stand in judgment of another. Plagiarism is such a sanitized version of what Senator Hairplugs did. From henceforth Senator Biden's name will be followed by "unrepentant liar and thief".

Did you see Dick Morris on Hannity & Colmes, earlier?

I just saw one sentence come out of that mans mouth and I quit watching---

He said that Newsweek had some kind of poll that said that some 60% of Americans are NOT in favor of abolishing the filibuster ---and he went on to say that Frist would regret pushing the nuclear option,,yada, yada, yada,

Now, first of all, I am positive that 60% of Americans dont have clue about what a filibuster is, they prolly think it is a big burger at Dairy Queen---

Second, I bet if the question was asked, "Do you think that President Bush's nominees should recieve an up or down vote on the Senate floor?", you would have a hugh margin saying yes. Well, prolly just the margin that Bush won the election by, but still that is a majority--

THAT was not what I wanted to see tonight after this afternoon---sigh....

I will guaran-damn-tee you that Biden probably wanted this meeting to be open to the public. Meetings of this type are typically closed door meetings.

I know that many of us were very disappointing today by the behavior of some GOP Senators, and this lead to anger and despair. However, despite all this, I am confident that Bolton will be confirmed as U.N ambassador. Be optimistic my fellow freeper.

The five to six RINO Senators are always a throne in our side, but we have to deal with this agony at the moment because we need their votes.

We have been dealing with it for too long

I am normally a person with a lot of patience

But at the moment .. I have NONE left

If those nit wits want to be Democrats .. FINE .. GO!
