I have been thinking about Peggy Noonan's article about John Paul the Great's visit to Poland, and how the Poles cried out, "We want God". I think it's a common cry here, we want God. It's a common cry from humanity, "We want God". Only the Left, which seeks to make man's lusts and passions "God", does not want God. They just got informed (again) that God is here anyway.

I'm not so sure the cry is for God, but rather a cry for understanding. Seems that once something is proven, whether secular or spiritual, something comes along from the other realm to disprove it. Life and the world of theology is confusing. I was listening to a religious talk show last night. The program was discussing how were created in God's image. To me an image is me. When I look in a mirror, I see my image, for better or worse. So, if I was created in God's image, how could I be imperfect and sin when in fact He is perfect? I should be just like the mirror of me when I am an image of him.
I read a chapter in Corintians that mentioned that liars, adulters and others who sin will not inherit the kingdom. Yet many evangelical churches say that salvation cannot be lost by sinning. Yet clearly the scripture is in conflict with the church on that one.
Just some ramblings of someone trying to make heads and tails of all this.

I hope this means that we will not be seeing him kiss the Koran in the future.

John Paul the Great I was listening to the radio today, and the Bishop of Madison Wisconsin referred to him thus, and I stood up and cheered right there in my kitchen.
