1) Free speech on FR goes as far as JR lets it go, this is pretty much the same as his living room.

2) Popping in and saying mac users are gay, is free speech, but dont be like many americans and complain about the consiquences...

Putting flyers on car windows is trespassing? LOL. Any old excuse will do, won't it?

Doing it at a mall as you suggested is generally prohibited and considered trespassing. I advise against it.

Btw: Do you really make swords?

Many years ago, in college, I was prop-master for a play that required all the actors to have swords... I turned out 30 or so.

I chose the name because it is also a play on words... in that "the pen is mightier than the sword"... and "sword" incorporates "word" within it.

elevating the tone comes about when everyone agrees to elevate the tone.

I couldn't agree more. That's why I have tried very hard to bite my tongue even when Bush2000 "comes out" with the gay remarks. I'm happy to let it die right there and continue a discussion with fellow Mac enthusiasts, and either ignore the remark or remind the poster that they have intruded.

Sean Connery: I'll take "swords" for $500!

The only bit on Saturday Night Live in the last few years that I truly considered funny.

LOL. I already did that, except it's not for me, so I'm resisting the urge to crack open the box and play with it :)

Ah, go ahead and open it. For testing and quality assurance purposes, of course. They'll understand.

Interesting. I've always had an interest in the art of swordmaking. Not enough to get into it myself, but I greatly admire the craftsmanship to be found in a fine blade. I want a nice katana

I have a Tanto dagger that was made by a swordsmith over 900 years ago... still sharp enough to shave with. I turned down over $3000 for it 30 years ago.
