Uh oh. Careful out there FReepers.
Very nasty looking storm with a noticeable hook echo. And all these storms appear to be reaching into the jet stream.
Be safe all, this mess is headed my way as well.
Jeff
I am not in the path of the currently tornadic cell, but it looks like I will get my fair share in northern Dallas Cty very soon.
Prayers sent for all those in the storm's path.

We have 3 tornadoes on the ground.
Don't let it mess up all those TV towers on Cedar Ridge.
There are three warnings but I believe two of those are just doppler-indicated...for the moment.
Some chick on a broom wanted to know where "Dorothy and her Dog " were..
The warnings are just as freaky as the sirens going off.
Been getting stereo tornado sirens here, one to the south and another to the east. The sky is a dark gray-blue, heavy rain and -- oddly enough -- sunshine! I think our little acre is in the clear.
Prayers up for all in its path!
Does anyone know if this is anywhere near Flower Mound, TX?
I'm not scared -- I've got my trusty micro umbrella that I bought at the drugstore.
Nope, it's a good 20-25 miles to the south-southeast of Flower Mound.
The tornadoes on the ground have been along the I-20 corridor along the south side of Dallas and Tarrant counties. Flower Mound is north of there. There is a large thunderstorm near Flower Mound at the moment, but not as intense as the supercells to the south.
Ah yes, springtime in Texas.
