Sen. Pryor Says He Will Join Sen. Harry Reid In Shutting Down The Senate If Liberals Lose Filibuster Vote

Sen. Mark Pryor says he will join Democratic Minority Leader Harry Reid in shutting down the Senate should liberals lose the vote to shut off their filibuster of judicial nominees.

Pryor told the Associated Press, when asked if he would support Sen. Reid's retaliation: "I would only want to see us do that as a last resort. If that's what it comes to, that's what it comes to."

Sen. Pryor's Washington office number is 202-224-2353. His District office in Little Rock is 501-324-6336.

Nothing like doing the will of the People, hmm?

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY IS A CRIMINAL ENTITY

Shutting down our corrupt government good. I don't see a problem here.

I was thinking about all the Congressman travel problems both left and right. I don't recall ever seeing my congressman Cox in town at all or, getting a letter or email of any public meeting he was holding in the area.

They spend way too much time abroad "representing" us to, represent us. There is no reason for any congressman to be at a seminar in africa or europe or asia, if they want to know how to do something they need to ask their boss, us, We The People to tell them.

We get some federal judges that respect the law AND the government stops finding new ways to spend our money?

It sounds like a win-win to me

Now just how are they going to do that...

The Republicans should pass every piece of legislation possible if they walk out...

Isn't that how America got the UN into Korea after the Soviets walked out?

I wish all these idiotic politicians would stop talking so much crap and start acting. Go nuclear and shut down the Senate in retaliation, so voters can vote out every single one of these crooks and we can start all over in the Senate with some US citizens who actually give a hoot about the well-being of this country. I'm sick of this political back and forth from a bunch of morons who don't really have the best interest of their country at heart.

That is what I was thinking---Pryor must not read his DNC talking points memo everyday or he would already know that the Dems have backed off that promise, darn.

This would last a week, tops. It's not like the Senate does anything anyway, but there has to at least be an illusion of activity. A handful of the moderate Dems would vote for cloture with the GOP to break a universal filibuster.
