Really? Do you think has converted significant numbers of liberals to conservatism? (Whatever that means)
She has encouraged conservatives or closet conservatives to be bold and proud of your ideals. If some of that boldness would just rub off on the Senate GOP we would be in a lot better shape.
I don't think that's quite the point. Do you recall in the novel Huckelberry Finn the scene where the King and the Duke are trying to swindle a poor orphan out of her inheritance? Everyone in the family and all the neighbors are falling for the swindle; everyone except for one young doctor, who sees right through the rascals and attempts to expose them. The doctor wasn't trying to convert the swindlers ... rather, he was trying to open the eyes of the swindlees.

I doubt that Ann has "converted" anyone, but what she's done is show that there's a market for ideas outside the domain of the leftists.
Remember that for years, the MSM, both electronic and print, belonged to the leftists, and it was extremely rare for any diverging opinion to make it through to the public. There was also a dearth of conservative books on the NYT bestsellers lists.
One of the things that Ann has done is shake things up. Her books regularly show up on the NYT bestsellers list, and she's incredibly popular, both as a "talking head," and as a speaker/columnist.
That's the difference that she's made (IMHO): She's got the leftists worried!

No, but I'll bet a fair number formerly from the mushy middle have come over. If they read her books or columns, even more will. She backs up what she says with cold hard facts, even if sometimes (often!) she says it in an "in your face" way.
I love it when she does that. :)
