Again, there is no "black rock". That's the CURTAIN. It is raised when the pilgrims come (once a year) and folks move around it in a circle.

The actual ancient structure is made up of fossilized wood and a moderate sized stone meteorite.

It looks like the sort of altar where you would make a burnt offering. Moslem belief is that this is where Father Abraham was going to sacrifice Ishmael.

Allah is, in fact, God's Own name in Arbic. The Syrian and Chaldean Christian churches use that name in their Arabic translations of the Bible.

If you are going to attack Islam and Moslems, please do so from a basis of rationality and fact. It does you no good to upset archaeologists and Arabic speaking Christians, particularly those Christians who've been fending off the Moslems for the last 1400 years!

No. Allah is the name of the arabic moon god. When Mohamet created his religion, he destroyed all the other tribal gods, but kept this one god.

When missionaries attempted to reach the moslem world, they translated their bibles into arabic, but instead of changing God's name they left it as Allah, to appeal to the moslems.

Do you think Allah and the God of Moses are one and the same being?

"Allah" may mean "God" in Arabic, but by no means is the god of Islam the same as Jehovah God of Christianity.

The very fact of the Islamic denial of Christ's divinity is all the evidence needed to shatter any illusion that Muslims and Christians worship the same god. Christ Himself instructs us to "question the spirits"; if one denies that Christ is God , then he is not of God. This commandment, given by Jesus Christ, comes from the Bible, not the koran.

This article was an eye-opener for me in more than one respect: The commonality of God-hating, Christ-rejecting humanists and Islomafacists; the humanist obsession to shut Christ up by exiling the people who worship Him to the farthest periphery of American political and social existence, and the Islamics to shut Christ up by erasing them from the face of the earth.

I now understand where the sympathy of the Democrat party for Islamic terrorism comes from.
