Besides that I was under the impression WH correspondent dinners were roasts where children or Girl Scouts aren't expected are wanted to attend. It's been known for decades to be an adult only dinner. A dinner for the adults to let down their hair and business demeanor and LAUGH after months of HEART ATTACK like SERIOUSNESS.
It's sort of like watching a Friar's Roast with the understanding that it will be a G-rated event.
