yet ANOTHER Laura Bush diatribe? I normally agree with Michelle Malkin, but you know, I just can't seem to understand why younger generations (ALSO KNOWN AS THE FUTURE) see conservatives as tightwads ya know? It isnt AS IF there isnt a plethora of evidence right here in these threads.

Yep. Sometimes I think we're about ready to throw our cause over the edge of a cliff because we just can't be perfect enough for ourselves. Sigh.

You know, Mike, I am a few years younger than Laura Bush, but my children are older than hers. I think my three daughters are getting older than I am, sort of like this Michelle Malkin. They expect us 50 plus women to just dry up and sit in our rocking chairs or something. Well, hey, I have news for them, we aren't going to do it. We are young and vibrant and we have a lot to say and do! The baby boom generation is quite different from any generation that ever came before us, and I kind of think we are unique.
But I digress. Laura Bush is an elegant, classy woman who knows her boundaries and does not need anyone to second guess her. I think all of this carrying on is nonsense.
