"The Zogby-Garden State Equality poll, which surveyed 804 New Jersey voters from April 12 to 14, has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points."
Hmmmm. With that kind of margin of error the headline could have just as easily read: "Poll shock: Majority of Voters Would Not Back McGreevey Nearly 53% would not consider voting for him again"
Move along. No bias here.
The homosexual spin and the compliant media made it work out quite well for McGreevy. The media has conveniently allowed those polled to forget that McGreevy resigned, not so much because of his homosexuality, but because he appointed his totally unqualified lover (he was a tour guide in Israel and a poet) as New Jersey's anti terrorism czar making a six figure salary. He did not even qualify to receive classified information or be briefed by the FBI. Oh yeah, almost forgot about the lawsuit threat as well.

The group piggy-backed the McGreevey question...
Poor choice of words! Snicker!

Seems the NJ crowd has little more care for morals than the DC crowd who reelected Marion Barry.

That's not even why he resigned, though it was a factor.
He resigned because he was very close to being indicted in the "Machiavelli" campaign donation scandal.
Instead of leaving the Statehouse in cuffs, he preferred to leave in leather.

It's just name recognition. Same way some Kennedy gets elected every year.

I'm surprised the margin isn't larger. This is NJ, aka, RatLand, at least as of late. 'Rats take being embroiled in a scandal like this to be a badge of honor. Remember the pep rally Al Gore led in the Rose Garden for Klink after he got impeached? These people have no shame. They wallow in scandal and disgrace and keep coming back for more, and the idiot electorate keeps rewarding them by voting for them. Why should they change, or pursue a more honorable path when they keep on winning no matter what they do?

Plus this shows that McGreevy succeeded getting the public to remember him as leaving office over sex rather than the real reason which was corruption. The reason McGreevy admitted to the affair was to take the public eye off the corruption ball. They strategy as Clinton and with some success.

Anyone that votes based solely on name recognition is a fool.

Ah, but it was even more effective than Clinton because McGreevy is homosexual.

Well, it may be that a poll conducted by fairies in New Jersey was fixed in some way, or it may mean the there are many more mafioso tinkerbells that previously assumed.

Haven't heard much out of Christie's office lately regarding any further investigation. I wonder.
