This is a bad rap any way you slice it. If Bush doesn't hammer down on immigration, the media will continue these stories that say the country wants it done. And if he does hammer down, the media will do stories everyday on those cold heartless, racist republicans, and it will sway enough hispanics to never vote republican. It is an issue to be dealt with. But I fear it may cripple the republican party either way they go. The media will frame the opinions. It is truly sad.

Travis, well done posting the sections of the Constitution that require Congress to repel invasions.

I would like to think you saw some of my posts over the last couple of months stating the same thing.

I am glad to see at least one other "contitutionalist" at this forum.

It was also another nice touch that you posted FreeRepublic.com's logo stating the forum's motto:
