Thanks for the post. I hadn't noticed the update icon in the toolbar, so I'm downloading it now.

So do I. I'm still using Mozilla. Though I've tried Firefox, I just can't seem to part with Mozilla.

Any tips you can give me I will appreciate it.

If you haven't found it already, Mozilla offers online support (FAQs, forums, etc.):

AH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

The invulnerable Firefox!!!!!

Curses, foiled again!!!!!

AH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

All of those computer geniuses who have been extolling the virtues of Firefox won't be posting on this thread.

They're hiding in the corner right now with their tails tucked firmly between their legs.

Sorry.... you won't be able to say enough things to convince me to return to IE - EVER.

A mirror is another web site that hosts the same files as the master site. Their purpose is to ease the bandwidth traffic on the master site/other mirror sites.

When an update for a popular product comes out, you normally don't want 10 million people hitting the same server all at the same time, so you spread the file over several mirrors, the the traffic goes to the mirrors, easing bandwidth congestion.

I find it so funny that some people despise Firefox, they are so loyal to their IE.

Why does it bother you so much that some people prefer Firefox? I love that I have no popups to deal with.

I simply offer it as an alternative. I also sometimes mention the free browser "Off By One", and Opera (the "free" version of which displays an banner ad, registration is $39 US).

Let people compare, and choose for themselves.

ROFL

I'm not trying to convince anyone to do anything.

I laugh at the hypocrisy of some, that's all. :-)

When someone says, "Firefox is better than IE," OR vice versa, or, "X software is better than the other X software," they are merely exposing their own ignorance, ( no offense meant to you, personally, or anyone else. )

I run either/or browser and either/or software. Each has its ups and downs and none of them are perfect. They all have "holes" which can be exploited.

I just get fed up with the pseudo-computer experts on here who say "FIREFOX IS WONDERFUL," and the pseudo-computer experts on here who say, "IE IS WONDERFUL," etc.

Ditto, the Mac/PC arguments which I find sickening.
