I started with Intellivision and the TRS-80 from Radio Shack.

As for the NES, some of those games and some of the old PC are IMO better that most of the stuff out there today. (Major exception being the sports games)

I loved Intellevision, too. Celicovison was awesome as well. I loved "Pitfall."
