Following my remarks to the graduating class of Columbia University’s Business School in New York City, I have come to realize that my words and examples about America unintentionally depicted our country negatively and hurt people.

I appreciate the honest comments that have been shared with me since then, and am deeply sorry for offending anyone. I love America unshakably – without hesitation – and am extremely grateful for the opportunities and support our great nation has always provided me.

Over the years I’ve witnessed and advised others how a thoughtless gesture or comment can hurt good, caring people. Regrettably, I’ve proven my own point. Please accept my sincere apologies.

In case you had'nt noticed, we Americans are the rejects of the rest of the world. None of us put up with the cr*p going on where we came from. We disrespected local aristocracy which kept our families run into the ground by virtue of birth, we rejected money and banking systems controlled by an absolutely corrupt monarch, told the king's court to stuff it when they came to ransack our fields and our daughters and wives...of course the rest of the world either resents us or hates us at some level..we hold out a higher standard. They always have, always will.

The rest of the world is in awe of our country, they wish they could be like us. How ironic is it that these acient societies around the world, in Europe and Asia in particular, have all been overtaken economically (many times over) by a country created by immigrants, misfits, and cast outs, who've only been at it for a little over 200 years?
